How we review medical content
Every piece of medical content on the site — pillar guides, biomarker pages, panel pages, FAQ answers, and the language the AI uses in patient reports — goes through this workflow:
- Drafted by an editor with a science or health background.
- Fact-checked against current guideline sources (NICE, USPSTF, AHA, ESC, ADA, ACOG).
- Reviewed and signed off by a board-certified clinician.
- Re-reviewed at least every 12 months — sooner whenever a guideline materially shifts.
- Last-reviewed date displayed prominently on every page.
Read the full editorial standards for the workflow in detail and the corrections log for our public changelog.
